Every day, kids aged 8 to 18 in Dublin’s North West inner city face the pull of social challenges from street-influenced dangers to a scarcity of after-school options. But right here, in our own neighbourhood, Just ASK stands as a beacon of support: a safe, non-judgmental space where hope, opportunity, and friendship flourish.
A World Beyond the Streets
Among our most powerful programs is North Dublin to North Africa. Each year, a group of young people travels to Morocco to experience another world and make a real difference. Take 2024: the group worked together to repaint and repair a rural school in the Atlas Mountains. They built friendships, confidence, and a profound understanding that their potential extends far beyond the familiar streets of home. This program isn’t simply a trip, it’s a chance to rediscover potential, see new cultures, and return with fresh ideas to inspire others.
